Job Announcement and Description

As a key member of our facilities team, you'll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our buildings and ensuring a clean/ safe working environment.

Cleaning and Janitorial Duties:

• Clean floors, walls, bathrooms and all other surfaces using various cleaning products and equipment
• Empty trash and recyclables, restock supplies, and maintain supply rooms
• Disinfect commonly used items, such as door handles and office tools
• All other cleaning duties as assigned
• Operate floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment
• Snow removal assistance on walkways as needed

Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move items
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of safety guidelines when working with chemical cleaners
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions:

• Work indoors and outdoors
• Frequent standing, walking, and lifting

Qualifications, Education and Experience: Graduation from high school or GED certification and experience working in janitorial field is preferred.

Knowledge, skills and ability: Must have no convictions of any crime by any state or federal government punishable by imprisonment in a federal or state penitentiary. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test if requested.
